The Sand Castle Project

The Sand Castle Project is a CRASH initiative to build a parallel supercomputer out of commonly available hardware and software components. Sound exciting? Then click on!

Virtual ProtoAndroid

The Virtual ProtoAndroid is a real-time 3D simulation of the real ProtoAndroid developed by the Austin Robot Group. We hope to eventually be able to develop machine intelligence control software for the real android by first developing and testing it on the Virtual one. Of course, a VR robot has lots of fun potential as well! :-)

Cambot II

CRASH's Web-controlled Cambot is back! The second implementation of Cambot includes a smaller chassis built on top of a radio-remote car, Java interface, and real-time (2 fps at 9600 baud!) inline Java video display. More details to come...

Digital Fairy Tales

Using a performance animation technology developed by Reactive Systems, intensive work in beginning on interactive fairy tales with 3D characters. See the Interactive Digital Theater (tm) project page for more information.
